Kane is lovingly co-owned with outdoors people who enjoy adventuring with their adored companion. Their activities include camping, boating, hiking, mountain biking, ATVing, and snowshoeing to name just a few. Keeping with this theme, he claims the position of lead hand, assisting in the operations at Old Stage Maple Farm, harvesting a variety of quality homegrown products as King of his 12 acres.
Since puppyhood, he has been a regular at Albany Kennel Club and began Utility level obedience run thrus under a year old. He participates in Barn Hunt, Toss & Fetch (Bainbridge New York league), passed his Herding Instinct Test, Therapy Dogs International (TDI) testing, and is off leash trained.
Most impressive is Kane’s exceptional athleticism, which is a testament to the versatility of our breed, and a beautiful representation of the capabilities of the dogs our program produces.
In 2022 - Kane’s first dock diving season - He achieved a Personal Best of 27’ and brought home Best of Breed in NADD 2022.
In 2023 - Kane’s second dock diving season - He went on to set records, claiming prestige as the first and only Verified Australian Shepherd to receive his Premier title. Kane won the North East Regional Competition in entirety placing #1 in Premier Division and finished with a Personal Best of 28’9 as #1 Australian Shepherd. Kane then attended his 1st NADD National in Springfield, Missouri where he jumped in Premier Division at Finals placing #6 in the entire competition with world record holding Whippets above him.
In 2024 - Kane started the Season with a new Personal Best of 29’3, ultimately, wrapping with a winning streak for his second year in a row at the North East Regional Competition and #6 in NADD National Finals.
Apart from his successful dock diving career, Kane ventured into Fast CAT, debuting with a bang and clocking over 30 mph! Keep an eye on rankings as we’re sure he’s angling to add fastest Australian Shepherd to his resume. Nowadays, on any given night, you can find him training in Scentwork and more recently, Agility with no limits to what he can accomplish at the highest levels.

Location: Rockaway Beach New York
Maui is lovingly co-owned with avid beach goers who enjoy an active life and growing family with their best buddy. He has a stable, sound, friendly temperament, and disposition. Maui participates in Fast CAT, swim lessons at a dock diving facility, ran his first herding trial at 14 months old, and recently debuted in the conformation ring. Currently, you can find him Obedience and Rally training at Nassau Dog Training Club working towards trialing and titles.
Most notably, Maui welcomed a little one home in 2022 and a 2nd in Summer 2023. If you see Maui and the babies at a show near you, please give them a kind “Hello” into the dog world! Fingers crossed on future Junior handlers!
